The classic 24 game — reimagined.
The 24 game has been quietly played in classrooms and at kitchen tables for decades. You get four numbers. Using +, −, ×, ÷ — and parentheses — you combine them to make 24. That's the whole game.
It sounds simple. It isn't. The simplest arithmetic, the trickiest combinations. A perfect little workout for mental math — and a great way to spark the joy of numbers in a kid just starting to love them.
Our story
Combine 24 was designed and built by my son. He's ten, he loves math, and like every kid his age he's grown up with AI as a kind of co-pilot. He sketched the idea, picked the colors, named the modes — Daily Puzzle, Fast Play, Magic Solver — and shipped the thing.
I helped where a parent helps: the boring grown-up parts (developer accounts, signing keys, app stores) and sitting next to him while we figured out the bits neither of us knew yet. The fun parts — what the game actually does — are his.
We made Combine 24 because we couldn't find a 24-game app that felt friendly. The existing ones either looked like worksheets or were buried in ads. Combine 24 keeps things gentle: one small, family-safe banner ad on the home screen — no ads during play, no tracking, no in-app purchases, no social features. That single banner is what helps cover hosting and keep development going.
Watching a ten-year-old design and ship his own app is the kind of thing that makes you realize childhood today is genuinely different. We're glad you're here.
